I had an older Mac with imovie 6, and I was able to tranfer files back and forth between the Mac and
my Kron...I now have a Mac Book Pro, with imovie 11, and I can only import files from the Kron to
the Mac, but not from the Mac to the Kron....version 11 no longer has the option to "export to video
camera" which the imovie 6 has, and which allowed me to send files to the Kron from the Mac...
Thoughts?
Thanks....larry

Re: imovie
I have further information....the imovie 6 allows an export to the Kron/video camera...it's hard to believe that
imovie 11 would take that option away, but it seems like it has...no one at Macrosystem support had an answer....

Re: imovie
You could either export the project to iDVD and bring that in via Ksebara but the compression would likely yield less than pleasant results. You could also export the movie -- under iMovie11, you will find this option under the Share pull down menu.

Re: imovie
Larry,
I have had the same issue - my new iMac came with the new version of iMovie loaded, and after hours of trying I found that exporting to a camcorder (via firewire) is not possible from the new iMovie. Fortunately, I still had my old Mac intact, so I loaded the old version (iMovie HD 6) from the old machine to the new one. It works fine, and its functionality is just as good as the new version in my opinion.
Initially, Apple made available a DMG of IMovie HD 6, perhaps because a lot of people bitched about the new version, but quite recently they have withdrawn it (I can't imagine why, but they did).
Do you still have access to iMovie HD 6 on your older Mac? If so, I would recommend transferring the old programme to your new machine. If you don't, then there is a place to get the old iMovie HD 6 programme - go here and follow the instructions: http://www.partnersinrhyme.com/macword/ ... e-plugins/
Hope it works!
