I would like to export a film clip from the media manager film archive to a usb. The only export option i get is DVD, L DVD, CD. The manual says there should be a list of 600 devices to which to export when I click on the List switch button under export. There is no such button. A device list does come up in film selction window when clicking on OPT; but there is only one item "pc format"
Called to Casablanca, but they talked too fast to help me; and my English is not very good.
I have an s4000; Bogart 3.2c

Re: how to export to a usb
My guess is that you will gain access to the USB import/export options as well as additional functionality when you have the Premium Package activated. This is found under the Settings Menu in Media Manager - I have a step by step tutorial on the process on my website here: http://www.casablancaexpert.com/articles/20090901

Thanks Chet, I had assumed that the usb output was a given and didn't need software. I found it and activated it. Works fine. JP

Re: how to export to a usb
In Install Products you can export all your 'entered' licence codes - there's a little button in there, bottom right.
An old USB (Thumb) Stick is useful for this. I say old because there are normally small in capacity and you don't need much for this.
If you then need to do an install etc the stick can be used to activate your purchased software but it will also do the standard Bogart bits and the Premium Pack in Media Manager automatically.

Re: how to export to a usb
Good trick Michael -- so, once you load all your license codes - on both the edit side and the Media Manager side you use the code archive function and then you're set to go after your next clean install... is that what you mean here?

Re: how to export to a usb
Hi Chet,
Michael is doing it the same way I do.
Before doing a full destructive installation I save all software keys
on USB-Drive.
This automatically includes the keys of Bogart and MediaManager side.
Additional I save "Archives"(Colors,Text...) in "Settings" or else those
are deleted doing a full destructive installation.
After full desructive installation all software keys are imported
automatically on Bogart and MediaManager sides from USB-Drive.
Of course software has to be installed and activated newly.
