Charles,

It is not possible.

The gen2 machines use USB1 only which is only practical for very simple data transfer such as mouse and keyboard signals.

So the USB ports are not designed for video or audio transmission use.

At school they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up.
I said “happy" and they told me I didn’t understand the question.

Yeah and to be totally accurate, MS had/has a software called USB PC-Link that did allow video transfer to a PC, but due to the USB1 speed of the machines even using it for photos (JPEG) it was painfully slow, not to mention unreliable.

Totally impractical for video.

Photos to flash drives or memory cards using a USB multi-card reader is do-able with the two aforementioned software.

Don't mention PC-Link or I'll need my pills again.

For 'me' it was the worst and maybe the most pointless piece of software they ever did pushing unreliability to new heights

B.T.W. - Bogart users should never load this onto their machines . . .

You want to talk irony, many years ago I won a off the cuff speed contest that David Sloan held and I had my choice of one free software.

Guess which one I ironically picked.

So, I won and I lost. <wink>
