Can anybody recomend a good program to make really nice picture slide show using vertical pictures. Reason i said vertical is becuase most of the time wedding pictures are taken verticaly. I dont want to have black backroung around so if there is something that automaticly makes some kind of frame around the picture it would be great..
Thank you,
Leo

Most of us use either Proshow Gold, or Proshow Producer to make photo slide shows.

Re: Picture slide program
I get asked this question frequently, it is important to understand that we cannot have a photograph or other image with a different aspect ratio fit into the 4:3 or 16:9 screen without some modification... usually a crop or use of a background. You are aware of this issue as you asked about a background instead of the black or white background, technically called pillar-box (on left/right sides) or letterbox (top/bottom).I don't want to have black background around so if there is something that automatically makes some kind of frame around the picture it would be great..
You could use the collage menu in Casablanca Photo Studio 2 to add your photo to a background image but that would need to be done individually for each image. As Chris mentioned, you could also use the popular PhotoDex programs - I believe you could set up a programmed command to add a border or background image to all your photos.
I use the Animoto software/cloud service that takes the native size of your image and adds it to a background/motion effect that I (and my clients) find quite pleasing. To find out more about Animoto - visit them here Animoto (NOTE: this is a referral link, which means IF you pay for their services I receive a credit on my account)
Hope that helps!
Regards,
Chet
