I have managed to get my hands on a second hand Claro for a very good price especially considering the software already on it.
When I hook it up to a VGA monitor the picture plays back with a stutter but when copying back to a DV camcorder via firewire the picture is fine.
Also the Claro has a composite video out on the back but when hooked up to a tv the picture comes out as if in negative coloured bright green and pink.
My question is, is this the norm for a Claro.
Thanks,
Claro

Re: Claro
The VGA stutter (in preview - so to speak) is normal.
Not sure what the composite is up to though . . . can't remember 'if' there was a setting for that or not
Is there a CVBS - Y/C selection in 'System Settings"

Hi Michael,
Thanks for that, there is a setting to choose video as opposed to VGA but that is what is giving me the odd picture.
I will have to investigate further.
