Can anyone tell me

Post by flvideo »

Why 11 pictures out of 92 that I scanned with the same scanner in the same file at the same time won't transfer into my rennie. I have done every thing I can think of to get them in the rennie. My next step is to rescann just those but thats gonning to be a pain in the royal... Has any one experienced this before. I am pulling my hair out and I ain't got much to pull.

Did they happen to be black and white photos?

You need to scan in photos in color (even if they are black & white) to be compatible and if your scanner is set to auto detect it will scan a black & white photo as black & white rather than in the color format and this will make that scanned photo not readable in the MS editor.
My mom always told me that happiness was the key to life.
At school they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up.
I said “happy" and they told me I didn’t understand the question.
I told them they didn’t understand life.

My scanner was on auto detect, but there was a lot of b/w pictures that transfered. I will look at that friday. This job was the first time I used this scanner and my old one didn't have auto detect. I am not sure how to disable that feature. So I have to scan all pictures in color? Thanks Bob...

Thanks Mike, still got some of the memory cells left. 8-)

Bob, while all scanner software is different, most of the software will either have an area you can set a drop down bracket or a radio dial to specify color selection choice such as Color 48 bit or some such which will force all scans to scan in color.
