No audio with bluebox

Post by Aaron »

I have used bluebox for the first time. A moving video background behind my talent. However once rendered, my clip has no audio. What can I do?

Hello Aaron and welcome to the board.

You can use the special effect "scene->sample" to extract the audio from your talent's scene.
Then add this audio sample in the audio mix window.
Mute the original audio and create.

Blue box is a transition effect and as such it will crossfade your audio between the two scenes your using. You'll need to strip your audio from the "talent" shot using Scene>Sample and then in the audio edit screen add the sample to your rendered blue box scene, and then make a scene of that.

Or... you can take your blue box scene and using the insert function insert it on top of the talent scene. Then make a scene of that.
