Animation sizes
Hi all,
I have totally reformatted my drive and re-installed all the software etc etc.
I started loading in my animations that I've used for many many years but for whatever reason, the majority of my anims are coming in as the 4.3 format and not 16.9!!!
Anyone know WHY I can't get a full screen animation anymore?
Thanks in advance.

Re: Animation sizes
Nobody know why my animations load into a 16.9 project as 4.3 with the 2 inch black border down each side? I've been using them for years without any problems previously but since my full install of the latest Bogart recently, I can't use any!

Re: Animation sizes
This is kind of basic, but basic stuff gets overlooked when you don't have to fool with them much, did you set the Project as a 16:9 versus a 4:3?
Did you check your display settings?

Hi Tim, yes it is set to 16.9 but I'm not quite sure what you mean about the "display" setting? The screen setting is also set to 16.9.

Re: Animation sizes
I am wondering if your monitor/tv could be displaying it incorrectly due to an auto display setting on the TV/monitor or in the display output settings on the Bogart unit.
This is on your Bogart machine, correct?

Re: Animation sizes
Hi Tim, yes it's the 4000pro machine. Everything seems to be set as it always has been...I do have some of my animations loaded in and they are fine but my newest ones are all in 4.3 format!
Before, I've always had my anims loaded into two separate projects, one set at 4.3 and the other 16.9 and use the appropriate one for whatever project I'm working on. Even if I added it to the clipboard, it always converted it to the correct size...not now!
There's something somewhere I'm not doing right but I just haven't a clue what it is!
Thanks for your suggestions, the are much appreciated.

Re: Animation sizes
Your issue is verified.
I discovered the same issue with ALL my prior 16:9 backgrounds that were originally 4:3 in BOGART 4.....I can't get them to be full screen 16:9 anymore. This even included those background re-imported from tape. as well.
HOWEVER, LUCKILY-for some strange reason, I had all my BACKGROUNDS saved as my #30 project via the SB project backup (SD) to an ext. HDD and when re-imported all went in as 16:9-using the 16:9 project setting of course. The clips even upscaled to HD as such via the clipboard to other shared projects.
NOTE: No matter how I used the various 'tricks' to stretch my 4:3 backgrounds, the 4:3 backgrounds are NEVER full 16:9 but rather letter boxed. I just 'lucked-out' having saved them in the aforementioned fashion.

Re: Animation sizes
So it appears to be a bug then.
I assume you reported it, Lou?
