Sent my S6000 to Boulder, they replaced video display & front
DV port. Received unit back, works great. However the font (type) size
in the menu windows are to small, was larger before repair. The home
screen (main menu) type is the right size. Please advise, thank you.

Re: S6000
In systems you can adjust the screen size by simply dragging the box. This will increase and decrease the size of the fonts. Go to Screen settings and adjust the position of the "box'. That should do it.

Re: S6000
Can the 6000 accept the highest quality HD video? do we have to reduce the quality? If so what should the settings be?

Re: S6000
I feed 1920 x 1080 from my D90 all the time, and it handles it just fine. Keep in mind that each project has its own resolution settings, so be watchful and make sure the project is set to what you are feeding it. It has 4:3, and 16:9 but that part adjusts to the numbers you set. On smaller ratios it will adjust, but it will only set to 16:9 for 1920 x 1080.

Re: S6000
Higher resolution settings are gonna make for smaller titles, characters. Its gotta put more pixels in the same space, so EVERYthing is going to be smaller than at a lower screen setting.

Re: S6000
Just to add some additional thoughts to this topic/thread...
I believe we have some potential mix-up in this conversation.
Remember that you can have one specific resolution selected for your project - this is done via the 'Format>Resolution' button under the Project Settings Menu. And can have a different resolution set for your Screen - found under the 'Screen' button in the System Settings Menu.
The choice under the Project Settings menu affects your edited project... what resolution your video will be conformed to for editing and then export. While the choice under the System Settings menu affects only how your editor is being displayed on your monitor/s.
Not trying to be condescending here - but wanted to clarify this for folks that may be less comfortable with these options.
Regards,
Chet
