Embarrased to put my name on the videos created by the 6000. Never had any problems with music imported to the videos. Same music as with my other editors. Audio is poor with the new software. It could be some settings but I looked and there are not many settings for the audio.

I have a new S6000 and have just produced two videos without any audio issues as all. Maybe it is a hardware issue with your particular unit? Curious.

Like Lou, I also have an S6000 and have not experienced any over modulated audio issues, with either Bogart V4 or my current version V5. I have inputted via USB, through MM, CD disc and RCA, all with no problem.

I know this does not solve your problem, but there is some other issue, other than it just being an S6000.

It might be worth considering a complete re-installation of the OS, before looking at hardware, but to be honest I don’t have a real answer
