You'll need to set it up in Media Manager, in the spanner section, network.

Which Bogart are you on ?

Mine works fine. Just make sure you are NOT set up in MM for wireless. That is another "dog and pony" show for another discussion.

Hi Lou:
I just got my S-6000, traded in my Prestige after 14 years of great service. When I started with Casablanca, they were a brand new company, with the Classic. I stood at their booth at the WEVA convention every day for hours seeing how easy it was to use the system. It cost $10,000 at that time. I was their 2nd customer in the state of Florida.
It worked right out of the box.
What would be the advantage to hook up the internet to the S-6000?
Are we subject to the problems that come with the internet such as Spyware, etc?
Ok, I'll ask why not wireless?
Best.

There is no download capability of files using the internet thus little if ANY chance of a virus.

My S-6000 (Media Manager) internet homepage is set for Chet's CASABLANCA EXPERT site for instant reference.

The LINUX system is super fast. I mean REAL fast. Faster than my PC. The MM Internet is also set up to access only safe sites.

Yes...you can hook up wireless with the LAN connector then go into the MM manager and enter your router information. I prefer Ethernet-faster and safer..
