Birdy's tips and tricks

Post by jeffphilips »

I purchased Birdy's tips and tricks video vol 4. I was satisfied with it. Has anyone purchased the others? Can you give a review of what you thought about them and was it worth it?
Thanks,
jeff

Hello,

Birdy is a very talented video artist and has produced four very very worthwhile tips and tricks DVDs which were created for Macrosytem US while he was employed there. These are available from Macrosystem US and are worth every cent.

After leaving the company he created one more DVD called "The Art of Editing" and it can be purchased through Reliant Digital at http://www.reliantdigital.com

Birdy is no longer associated with Macrosytem US or the video editing world.

Since that time, the job of creating the video manuals has been turned over to Macrosystem's master of all things, Mr. Justin Philpott. He teaches part of the Cassie University classes, handles the in house video production, takes care of phone calls for technical help from customers, is involved with internal and external testing of new products. Like I said, Justin is a master of all things.

He has created "Video Manuals" for many of the company's software packages, so you can learn how to use them easily with Justin leading the way. I believe his manuals are up to number 7 now, but you can check them out by going to the Macrosystem web site.

All of these video DVD manuals and the tips and tricks DVDs make learning the MS software much quicker, and easier as well. There is not one of them that is a bad deal.

When Tim Kennelly and I first started using the Cassie machines we had to learn it all from scratch ourselves. That's were having this forum came to be such a valuable resource for all who visit here regularly. You are now in a family of friends all using the same equipment that you have and who love helping each other.

This idea is what sparked the very first "March Get Together" and remains it's primary goal each year. Go to http://www.marchgettogether.com and check it out. It's coming up on it's fifth year now and you are invited to attend next March if you can. You'll get to meet many of folks who you know from the forum, and get to learn what's coming in the future and actually meet and talk with both Chet Davis, the VP in charge of sales and marketing at MacroSystem US but also meet and talk with the CEO of the whole company from the home office in Germany.....Jörg Sprave!

Thank you Jim! I will purchase the rest based on your review.
I do wish MS would put a short teaser clip online to get us all more excited about it.
I have asked several times.
