can not import 60fps

I am having trouble importing footage shot 60fps from the GoPro and Canon 70D into my S6000.. can anyone help?

I think BOGART 7 will do,I HOPE to same problem here with 60fps and new Sony format XAVC :o

Casablanca Unit: S6000 (40 software pkgs. from AkabaHD to Twixter) 2 OLD firewire Casablanca Classics (fully-loaded). Hoping eventually for the perfect camera (sometime before I die of old age). Sony 96GB HDR-PJ790. Several lighting & audio recording systems. A very old, 2006 MacPro tower 4TB hard drive & 30GB memory. More LCD monitors, TVs, tripods and misc. equipment then I want to admit to.

I have the same problem -- with 60p to S6000. Current system won't allow 60p -- SO, you have to shoot in 60i and convert to 30p... which is very easy to do, (automatic), but you will see interlacing while editing, at times, but not in finished project or when converting for BluRay disc or wherever...(I am using Arabesk 5.5). If you need to convert your 60p to 30p footage, you will need another computer and the needed software. Check other past threads on these boards.

I imported footage shot at 60p into my Karat set at 30 p with no issues yesterday. One clip shot in my basement just to see if it would work.

I am importing footage shot at 60P into my KARAT at the 30P setting (frame rate conversion is automatic). Footage imports fine, looks great, DVDs and File outputs look great BUT while editing the picture gets this random "jell-o" effect (the scene actually splits apart) and it does not happen all the time in the same spot ... it is random. I'm using single monitor HDMI (it does the same on dual monitor mode) I switched out my HDMI cable but the problem persists. Finished product is fine, but annoying while editing.

I went through all my settings and found that "prefer perfect play" was unchecked. I clicked it on and no more "jell-o".
