Avio on off button broken

Avio on off button broken
Tried to set up my avio after years of no use and the front on off button is broken. Cant seem to see a switch through the hole.

As it's an Avio DVD it must be one with the on/off in the middle area and so the little micro switch might have become detached.
These can be repaired but possibly more of a pain would be if the silver plastic (outside) button has gone or become detached ?
It's much rarer for that to happen but is not so easy to get a replacement (if at all) as it's part of the front facia.
If the inside switch is still in one piece (or if you have it repaired) you can use a pencil with an eraser on the end to switch it on . . .

On button pushed in to far and broke micro switch. Poor way to make an on off button. Brought the PCB into work and wired in a real switch. No I will use the unit to load in vhs tapes ect and make dvds.
