Checking Electronic Export

Post by Rte80west »

All,

When you use Export Storyboard to send a scene or storyboard to an external drive, is there any easy way to check that the transfer worked and is playable without watching it? I'm in the process of exporting archived tapes and DVDs to external drives and just want to make sure I can trust the transfer. Whats the best way to do this?

Thank you

I would hook it up to my PC (via usb) and check to see if the files were there. It should give you all the information on length of each clip etc.

I was thinking that as well but is that sufficient? I have done some transfers and discovered that halfway thru it stops playing and everything is scrambled.
