Is it possible to move scenes into the scene bin from a DVD? Just curious. Thanks.

You can input by playing a DVD in a player using the analog (CVBS or YC) inputs into your editor.
If you are talking about a previously created Arabesk DVD you can use Ksebara to digitally input the DVD and then Split out the specific Scenes you want.

Well, I found out that I had mis-identified the fire wire, it was actually the USB port for burning direct from the camera. And the only digital output is HDMI, which I do not know how to convert to mpg2, so I am using a dedicated machine to burn the video to disk, and then bring that over to the Casablanca to edit. Its a roundabout way, but it beats sending the camera back and shopping for another camera. This one DID take a a line audio imput, after all, and I have a spare computer I can use just for burning DVD's.
