Has anyone tried using an FS-5 or another F E product to record (simultaneously ) then dump the data via firewire to the editor. Doing long programs (mostly sports) requires long entry times and I am looking ofr a way to shorten that dubbing function.

The units record in either SD, or HD which has to be tailored to the type of format accepted by the editor (quicktime etc.)

The next question what is the precise HD format needed for the Macrosystems editors ?
