AVI to DV-AVI Converter?
Anyone know of a good (hopefully cheap or free ) program that will convert an AVI to a DV-AVI? I'm still working on getting the Ethernet Transfer to work. I used the program mentioned here, but it will only convert DV-AVI's and Digital Juice's Juicer program only outputs in regular AVI.

The Windows Movie Maker supports the export of a DV-AVI type 1 file (save as DV-AVI). Then all you have to do is to convert it to DV-AVI type 2 with the tool you have mentioned.

VirtualDub is also able to convert between one AVI to another using the installed Windows codecs. It is Open Source and hosted on Sourceforge:
