moving text
Does anyone know how to make text scroll in from either side of the screen, then stop at a certain point and not move off the screen? Seems so simple, but I can't seem to figure out how to do it.

Re: moving text
Jeff,
Use Moving Pages, add a dummy Scene to the right of the target Scene longer than the in/out Movement duration (you set that to your preferred speed) and use Range to extend the Moving Pages Titling action into the dummy Scene to that extent so the exit is in the dummy Scene.
Then Create a Scene of the target Scene with Titling, use Range to set the Scene length only for the target Scene duration (it will render the entire Titling action, but only create the Scene that you want that way).
There are other ways as well, but this is the easiest, most effective way I know.

My mom always told me that happiness was the key to life.
At school they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up.
I said “happy" and they told me I didn’t understand the question.
I told them they didn’t understand life.

Thanks Tim! I know I asked that before. I got it this time. It enabled me to do exactly what I wanted.

Jeff, I must have missed your first posting of the question or I would have answered it already.
I have used that process to do that since they came out with the Pro software for the Avio when we gained the Scene creation capability. 8>)
