audio mix edit menu
what teaching material shows how to work in the audio mix section? I was wanting to get a good explanation of how the different parts (envelope, effects) work, and what can be done with them. The basic tutorial does not do it justice. Ideas? Thanks!

You could go to Tips & Tricks found at Macrosystem home page, then click on "Resources", "Tip of the Week" and #5 How To Use the Audio Envelope".
You can also watch some training videos: http://www.youtube.com/profile_play_list?user=odyvideo

Re: audio mix edit menu
Thanks, that helped. I still would like to see a general tutorial walk around of the entire audio mix page and what can be done with it. That would be the most helpful. Thanks. I did see Chet's YouTube tutorial on cutting to the beat, and that was very helpful as well.

Re: audio mix edit menu
Hello again Jim,
I have heard substantial requests and interest in more training, more resources to get the most from your Casablanca and I am pleased to share that in this new year I will be conducting a number of Webinars (web - seminars) that folks can log onto in their home/edit suite and participate as I walk through specific software or requested operations! (more to come about this next week)
For now, I would also point you to this short 4-page PDF document where I highlight some of the most requested audio operations http://www.clamcamvideo.com/ChetsAudioTips.pdf
(thanks to Carroll Lam for hosting the document)
Hope that helps!
Regards,
Chet

Re: audio mix edit menu
A good first webinar would cover what you see when you hit the audio mix button and what you do/can do with all the features you see there. Subsequent webinars would be breakout sessions on the envelope feature and others. A full length training DVD just on audio would be worth its weight. The DVD manuals go into good depth on the various video programs, but are rather short on audio training.
