Disk-Transfer and Adobe Premiere Elements

Post by fmoorexx »

Friends--

Disk-Transfer manual Appendix A describes "Exporting scenes with Premiere Pro" but does not offer advice about using Adobe Premiere Elements.

My son, Steve, produced a 2-minute video using Elements but cannot get it to export to MiniDV tape in our Canon GL-2. Elements will operate the GL-2 start/stop mechanism but nothing is recorded. There didn't seem much point in trying to export to the S4000Pro.

Can anyone suggest what are we doing wrong? This project is due to air on a regional network affiliate next Monday, 1/19/09. As you can imagine, that's an emergency for us.

Thanks for your help.

Try this:

.SAVE as an AVI file

.Import into Windows Movie Maker or similiar application

.EXPORT to DV from the application you chose in step#2
