I seem to always be losing and missing things.
Somewhere along the way, after installing SE8, I've lost the option for positionimg and fading in "v-scroll". I still have it, it's there and I've used it, but I can't control the direction, fade time, etc. Also, I noticed yesterday, the same with "Deluxe Titler 3D" but , because I have no options to click on the r.h. side, I can't even use it at all.
I installed SE8 as an upgrade, not a full install. Could this be the problem?
Also, what are the best values in software for moving backgrounds to use for titling?

Since you say you have actually used the two programs you mentioned, its not a case of forgetting to activate them using the software cd, but perhaps somehow they did not get activated properly somehow. If you are sure you havent just overlooked adding the effect to the clip in question, I would go back to the install products tab, and hide or delete those two programs and then reactivating them. If that does not get you the full functonality of it, you may have to save your work and do a full destructive install to put SE8 in fresh and then activate all your software again.
Hotcakes has a whole slew of animated backgrounds that are compatible with out systems. They work great. You can go to the main macrosystem website, go into software and get a link to "hotcakes" You must have disk transfer in order to get them from their CD into your unit.
