I recently bought 256MB RAM and a 250 MB HD and OS 8.0 for my old avio but for some reason, the memory is not being recognized as 256...The install of 8.0 is failing...Any ideas why?

Not all brands of RAM work with Avio. I recommend Kingston or buy it from MSUS or a dealer. If your Avio "thinks" there is only 64mb it probably wont allow the installation of SE8. What o/s was your Avio on before the upgrade? If trying to upgrade from an early version (say before SE3) you sometimes need to take it in stages. Install SE3.6c before proceeding to SE8. You will also need Hard Disk Upgrade software V1.3 for Avio to recognise a 250gb drive. A FULL installation of the o/s is required after you install HDU.
