Hard-disc cameras in high altitudes

Post by mykle »

I have decided to buy a small HD-camera for travelling. But, after having read an article in a german magazine, I am now not sure if I should buy a memory-card or a hard-disc camera.

The author of the article claimes that hard-disc cameras must not be used in altitudes above 3000 meters! If so, your hard-disc could be damaged.
