Re: S Video scart port
I can't remember what output the classic had now but S-Video is not a standard connection for Scart sockets. They have Composite and RGB pins but not S-Video as standard. To enable a Scart to use S-Video there has to be some kind of switching inside the device. If you then use a Scart adapter to S-Video or a cable terminating in 2 x RCA/4 pin din there is also a direction switch on the adapter/cable. If you use the adapter/cable without internal switching you are likely to get a black and white picture.

Have you got the right channel on your TV. My sony has AV1,AV2 and AV3 which includes an 'S' input but you have to select the right channel as AV3 'S'MatthewFowler wrote:im editing a video using cassie classic using scart port output into my monitor composite i plugged my s video cable into my tv and it screwed up all my colors any ideas?
If you just select AV3 you get a picture but only in black and white and a bit fuzzy as well.
