Hi Mykle, here's the way I do it:
Open on PC your Boot Drive (C)---MyComputer
Now go down to WINDOWS and 2x click left
Now go down to FONTS and 2x click left
Now you see all your installed fonts
Attach a USB-Flash-Drive to a USB port
Create a "Shortcut" of your USB-Flash-Drive on desktop
Select a TTF-Font and drag&drop it to your USB-Flash-Drive on desktop

Mykle
A slightly different method to Hans, if you know how to use your Windows Explorer.

1. Plug your memory stick into your PC USB socket.
2. Open windows explorer and then open “My computer” (click the + sign)
3. Scroll down to the folders to find which "Removable disc" has the flash card. If you click the + sign it will display the card.
4. Now open the Windows file.
5. Scroll down to Fonts and click, this will display all the fonts on your system, in the r/H window.
6. Holding the Ctrl button, click and highlight all the true (*.ttf) fonts you require to transfer. You may have to view the list in “View” - “Detail”, to see if they are true fonts.
7. When ready, click on any of the selected fonts and drag them down to the folder you located in step 4.

All the fonts will now be on your memory stick.

Hi Mykle,

You could always just "Google" 'free ttf fonts' and you'll find thousands.

Download them to your PC and then copy and paste the files to a USB stick.

In case you want to import ".ttf" Fonts via a CD and you are using Smart Edit, you have to create a CD in UDF file format or the Cassie won't see this CD at all.

Using Bogart driven systems you can create a CD in ISO or in UDF format, I think. It doesn't matter. But Smart Edit is a little bit picky sometimes.

But as mentioned by others, using a USB-stick is much easier. ;)

Thank you for trying to help me with my attempts to catch those .ttf fonts, and bring them into a USB-stick. I have almost succeded, but my USB-stick refuses to copy them into its memory! I am not sure what the reason could be, until I remembered that I have already put my licence-codes on this stick, and the memory showed only the S-4000 machine number, and my software licence numbers. I have installed Bogart SE 1.5/2.2 PAL, and used the option "U" to bring those codes into the USB-stick for later use, if I wold do a full install.

My next question is, because of this, if I should by another USB-stick for only .ttf fonts??

Mykle,
your USB-Drive is only a transport-unit like a tiny harddrive.
You can park the contents of the USB-Drive in a folder you create on your PC--> called USB-Drive
Move the contents (S4k&License numbers) of your USB-Drive to this folder (USB-Drive)
Now your USB-Drive is empty.
Next add your desired TTF fonts to your USB-Drive and off you go for import to S4k.
If you need the license numbers again, you have to first delete the TTF-fonts and
add the contents of your created PC folder to the USB-Drive.
Of course it would be much easier to operate with 2 different USB-Drives.
The prices are affordable.

Insert the USB drive, on the PC, go to Start, click on My Computer, double click your C drive, if it is hidden, choose Show Hidden Files (they are hidden so you don''t mess with them so don't tinker in here beyond Copying your fonts if you want your PC to keep working.

Choose the Windows file, again if hidden select Show.

In there you will find a folder labeled Fonts (in alphabetical order).

Open it and highight the font or all fonts and Copy (do not use drag and drop, use copy).

Then open the Flash drive and Paste.

The flash drive can then be inserted into your Cassie and Imported in the Titler (don't forget you have to checkmark the fonts here before Importing.
