what's index for?

Post by videojim »

Apparently its been too many months since I did the original training, but I cannot remember what the word index means when it shows up in the box when you are looking at a scene. Is this having to do with the auto scene cutting done by HD cameras? I forgot. Thanks.

Please see your SE7 manual, page 48:

An additional function is splitting a scene in series through the
"Index" button . Click (in the splitting menu) on the Play button
so that you see the "Index" button . While the video is running
with audio, each time you click on the "Index" button a split
position is set .
