Has anyone noticed that when working with rectangle, hot spot and the text effects, just to name a few, that the rectangle, hot spot or the text doesn't render in the same place where I put it in the window that allows me to change the size and or place the text.
Is this just another limitation of the system? Very frustrating and wastes a lot of time when things need to be in certain places.

Re: rectangle and text effects
It's another known bug Jeff,
My mom always told me that happiness was the key to life.
At school they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up.
I said “happy" and they told me I didn’t understand the question.
I told them they didn’t understand life.

I have had this bug through 2 systems and many OS upgrades. What a shame this cannot be corrected.

Jeff,
Yep, this inaccurate placing issue has been around for quite some time.
Obviously, it hasn't been much in the way of a priority with MS.

Re: rectangle and text effects
I prefer the 2 monitor mode having a VGA working area and on TV the play area.
What really annoys me is the incorrect ratio of the text input window.
This has not been changed in 9 years or maybe longer.
In 4:3 projects the ratio of this window should be 4:3 = 1.333 but actually is 1.16 so almost a sqare.
This window is the same if you are in a 16:9 project, showing you a totally wrong image ratiowise, streched vertically.
Furthermore as said by Jeff if you place a text in construction window after rendering it will show up
in some other place.
So the construction window is completely worthless since you first have to render to see where your
text finally will show up.
