Using Photo Transfer and Import from memory card, how can I select lets say 5 photos out of 100 that are on the card without doing one at a time or all of them at once?
Thanks in Advance

As you may have figured out, you cant. Its one picture at a time or all of them. With Photo Studio 2 you can import only the pictures you want.

Sorry Chris, but I can't go with what you say :o
When there are many photos on a card and you highlight Photo Transfer for import
all photos show up as thumnails in a preview window
Now I can mark the photos I wish to import.
After "OK" only the previous marked photos will show up in the scene bin.
But yes if you hit "All" the whole photo collection on the card will be imported.
At least this is what happens in my system using Photo Transfer.

Hans you are correct, Photo Transfer 1.8 running on Bogart does have the "mark" feature. But in Smart Edit on a Solitaire like Rone's, Photo Transfer 1.6c does not have that feature.

In PhotoStudio 2, this could be done by first importing all the pics, and then picking out which ones you want to "get", the second stage in that program. PS2 acknowledges that you may not want to do something with, or even keep all the pics, so it lets you pick and choose which ones go on from the first stage. This is probably the easiest way you are going to find to do this.

OK OK,

Photo Transfer and Photo Studio are two entirely different progams and are very easy to get confused about which one we are talking about.

Photo Transfer 1.6 won't do that........but Photo Studio will.

Photo Transfer 1.8 in Bogart will allow you to select which ones you want to import.

Now which one was that again, .......let's see.....oh yes....it's Saturday today or is it Sunday already?

Yep, clear on that. And the answer still is you cant. With Photo Transfer on your Soitaire, its one at a time, or all at once.

Ron,

With your Solitaire and Photo Transfer you cannot.

It is one at a time or all.
My mom always told me that happiness was the key to life.
At school they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up.
I said “happy" and they told me I didn’t understand the question.
I told them they didn’t understand life.
