ARABESK 4.4 has the ability to produce a pristine HD DVD on both a regular DVD-R (RW) and a Blue-ray disc. The codec used is the universal AVCHD codec-Hi-Def.
Here is an excellent tip:
.Produce a HD disc in ARABESK 4.4
.NOW....if you want to import this HD disc, you do not need KESEBARA.
.SIMPLY....place the disc in the CD drive while on the BOGART SE side.
.NOW......go to an empty project and assign this project as HD
.OPEN....the RECORD WINDOW via the USB ICON. NOTE: This ICON is only visible if a HD project and RECORD are used in tandem.
.LASTLY......You will now observe your project from the AVCHD ARABESK disc displayed in the menu......CHECK it off....CLICK
The clip will now be in your scene bin with the same quality as the AVCHD ARABESK disc....no need to use Media Manager or Kesebra for this process.

Re: ARABESK 4.4 IMPORT TIP FOR SAVING
Hi Lou, This tip gives an archive capability of HD video footage maybe even better than disk transfer on SD. AND it works for HD projects. I could see no loss from original HD footage.
