Lou is right and I had forgotten about that new little wrinkle even though Ihave run into that myself.

I bet money that is your problem!

Go into Video and change it off of the stupid analog input it defaults into and you should be able to input DV footage again.

Nice pickup Lou, I had not input DVfootage in so long I had forgotten that point.
My mom always told me that happiness was the key to life.
At school they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up.
I said “happy" and they told me I didn’t understand the question.
I told them they didn’t understand life.

Thanks Everybody.
DV loading problem solved.

1. When you start a new DV project. Set the Format to 16:9 or 4:3
Exit back to the MAIN MENU select VIDEO then set the DV input. (Video not available in HD projects)

2. OR In the RECORD mode in the DV Project. Select the "To Video Setting" button next to the Main Menu Button.

Things we forget I haven't tired to edit DV for the last two years.

Thank again.

Good to hear.

Once Lou brought up the video settings issue I knew he had nailed the problem as I ran into that myself the other day during an out HDV to in DV workaround and had forgotten about it.
