Hi all,
I want to do a full destructive install and have just downloaded 2.3e but haven't installed it yet as I want to finish a wedding first before I do that.I bought an external hard drive to back up my projects and know it backs up everything like storyboard, scene bin, transitions, titles and effects.
Is there a way to save all the archives like titling, fonts and personally created Arabesk DVD menu and chapter menu settings including the fonts, colours, border and shadow settings as I have spent a considerable amount of time setting that up and I don't want to loose that work if I can.

Re: Saving archives
Yes you can save these 'Archives' --
1. First connect either a USB Flash Drive or an external HDD (I have also exported/archived successfully to CD)
2. go to System Settings menu
3. click on 'Backup/restore archives'
4 click on 'Backup' -- up pops a menu asking you what is your preferred destination (you will only see CD/DVD unless you have a compatible HDD/USB drive already connected)
5. Select that preferred destination and enter a name for your archives in the text field.
6. Click OK and it will save your custom presets.
This a great tool - I use this to archive some of my custom presets and share that with all the learners in my hands-on Casablanca Workshops so they have the same, identical settings in their individual Casablanca editors while we work together in class.
Hope that helps!
Regards,
Chet
