SD card video to S4000

Post by Charles »

Hi All
Apart from using the actual camera to play in to my S4000 what would I need to import footage from what I think will be a SD card. Not having seen the camera and going from a vague description I’m assuming it’s a SD card but it’s a card camcorder.
Regards

A compatible card reader is all you need.

It needs to be a card reader that has a USB connection and the card needs to be a category 4 or better yet, a category 6 SDHC card.

When downloading into the S-4000 from the card, make sure not to pull the card out until the downloading is complete or it will damage the card.

N.B. I've also found that some of the earlier card readers (not surprisingly I suppose) are not up to the job.

Must be a speed/firmware related thing. Bought a new one and it loaded my footage just fine.
