I Understand that you must have the "juicer" in order to convert Digital Juice footage and then edit with Casablanca. My question to you is what software you use on a PC to upload these footage and then convert them and export to Casablanca?
Thanks in advance!
Sorry - I am confused by your question.
You can use the Juicer from Digital Juice on either Mac or Windows computer to convert their .MOV file/s into a compatible .AVI file that can be read by our Casablanca editors.

In the experiment above, I was just using a still .PNG image (graphic/logo) in the Finish window with the Place Graphic function which is part of Smart Edit 8/Bogart 2 OS.

Please re-iterate your question (use big words and type slowly so I can understand  )

Chet

Sorry Chet,

I was thinking on: "What editing software you use in order to watch end edit Digital Juice footage (Sony Vegas, Pinnacle, Avid, Edius....) and then export it to Casablanca".
(Am I missing something?)

Sorry for any confusion here... for this process you do not need any other application software - you can just use The Juicer to make your conversion for you.

I suppose you could alternately use a compatible editing software like iMovie on Mac or Windows Movie Maker on PC to load in the Digital Juice graphics and then export them out DV to your Casablanca (using a DV camcorder/deck) as an intermediary if your Casablanca does not recognize your computer.

Hope that helps!

Chet
