Canon are unable to see disc printers in the US because of some copyright restriction i think but like everything there is a fix part of which means buying a disc tray on ebay then going here http://damnprinter.com/105/the-five-easy-steps.html

Ink is on a par with Epson i would guess a large and small black ink cost me £23 recently but i buy mine from a local PC shop because the owner gives me great service on my PC

Disc and photo printing are first class but i do use Canon photo paper,i've two printers and touch wood no problems replacement when due will be Canon.HTH
