Actually, Bob Foster, first responder, gave you a succinct and correct answer to your question and did so in less than eight minutes.

How many more people do you need to say "what he said!"?

Ksebara is set up to correctly retranscode Arabesk created DVDs and all others are a crap shoot.

If I or any of the others had disagreed with Bob we all would have said so.

At that point it is not against etiquette for the community to branch off into related discussions.

It's what makes this the friendliest BB on the net.

Now plug the Kron back in and get back to work.
My mom always told me that happiness was the key to life.
At school they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up.
I said “happy" and they told me I didn’t understand the question.
I told them they didn’t understand life.

There seems to be some confusion over the word copyright. There is a copyright ownership on every film, video, TV programme, DVD or photograph made, usually (but not necessarily) by the person who produced it....even Joe Bloggs with his home camcorder. A copyright protection device is a way of protecting that copyright. That doesn't mean you can legally copy for profit or public performance a DVD that is not physically copyright protected......unless US law is more relaxed about this.

US law IS more relaxed than English law, Martyn.
