My Renommee-Plus will only come up to the opening screen that is white with the Casablanca Renommee emblem in the middle of the screen. Am I having a hard drive failure? This happened after I deleted Arabesk 2.4 and installed Arabesk 2.2 (was having a problem playing discs made with this machine). I did have another project about a week ago that a customer could not play the second film on his dvd players. I played that disc fine on all our dvd players, but this may have been a sign of the hard drive failing(?).
Thanks,
Robert

Robert,
Do you by any chance have another drive there to test?

Re: Renomme Hard drive problem?
Robert, I'm sorry to hear that you are still having problems booting. I don't believe it's your hard drive as that usually won't allow you to get as far as a welcome screen. Also, the fact that a dvd won't play correctly in a given player is not a hard drive issue - could be a burner problem but from what you've written, I doubt it. You could call tech support for ideas on getting your Reno up and running.

Re: Renomme Hard drive problem?
Thanks again Paul for your thoughts. Dennis, I don't have another drive to try. Any other suggestions? I did email tech support and they have sent me a few suggestions that I am trying.
Thanks,
Robert
