DVD Duplicator question.

Post by PaulBusta »

Are any of you with duplicators having problems with you duplicators recognizing a Cassi burned dvd. The one I bought a few months age won't, it says that the disk is empty. In Arabesk there's a setting for "Type 1" or "Type 2" disks and the Arabesk instructions don't list what the difference between the two are. It won't copy the Cassi disk to the internal HD or burn a direct 1 to 1 disk. Thanks for any help.

Paul,

The Type 1 and Type 2 is for Disk Transfer AVI file format type and is not applicable to standard DVD creation.

I have never had any trouble duplicating Arabesk created DVDs and CDs in my duplicator or any of my PC burners.

What tower/burner manufacturer are you using so others can stay away from it?
My mom always told me that happiness was the key to life.
At school they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up.
I said “happy" and they told me I didn’t understand the question.
I told them they didn’t understand life.

I use an ACARD 2030 3X Tower very finnicky, sometime it will and sometimes it wont copy from a standatd DVD recorder an error comes up every now and again but they are supposed to be pretty good..The manual is completely useless. I think modern technology is brillianr....But unreliable. I dont think i would go on a computer controlled space flight...would you? John
