New Forum!
Hello Everyone,
Hey, I'm glad to see the new board up and running. I hope it serves us over the years as well as the old one has in the past. I know the old one is getting ragged and torn and a bit fussy but it has kept us together for many years now. Lets hope that this new one will do even more to cement us together as a community of Cassie Users and friends.
Chet, I'd like to see the color in the heading darkened down to the deep blue that we are using to on the old site. This seems too light and timid to me. Just a suggestion from the peanut gallery. ( Oh, sorry, you're not old enough to recognize that reference.) I see that the software allows photos of members and that this is now shut off. That might be a good thing to further enhance the feeling of a family of friends.
If would be great if we could include stills with photos and diagrams of things we are working on in the body of the text. This would really be helpful as well. I'm just on a wish list here.
I'll try to get this thing figured out and continue to post as I get a wild idea from time to time.

Re: New Forum!
The more I use this new site the more I like it. If this next line comes out red, then I have also mastered the colour option. Yeh, it worked.
At first going from the "Board index" to the topics was a little confusing, but as said it soon became obvious.
I also like that the smiles can be added afterwards, rather than at the end of the the line being typed.
The colour of the page is not an issue for me, but most of the other things Jim said, I agree.
I know Chet is going to put a reminder out about encouraging members to register with a real name "username", I think we all agree, this helps to keep the site a friendly place to visit. Incidentally, once a username has been entered, it cannot be changed.
Like Jim, I will come back if there are any further suggestions.

Ian, you've got the color option mastered but for some reason when you use it, it seems to through in a needless U into color

Re: New Forum!
Chris, we obviously let you guys have independance far too early and never really got to teach you real English first.
Seriously though, the new site is great. It can even be edited, without that annoying line telling everyone it has been edited. And as you can see, Volker already is an advanced user.

Re: New Forum!
When you enter text in the text editor you see a button "Img" on top. What is the best way to add a image to your post?
Click on that button. Two "Img"s will appear at your editor.
Paste the URL of the image right between those two "Img"s.
I think you can not "upload" any images directly to the board so you just can link to images that are already uploaded to some webspace.
