Have a serious problem with Arabesk as when I ADD a project it will take 1½hrs to Add about 10mins of footage and then freezes up completely or on the odd occasion when it does complete the task it take up to 5 or 6 hours to Add about 45mins of footage but very rare it gets that far, it is not just on one project but now happens on all projects,
now have great difficulty to produce any DVD's, it may be a coincidence but seems to have only happened since installing V8.1, my other hard drives have the same problem, I am using Arabesk V3.2. on a Prestige. I have deleted Arabesk and re-installed but is still the same Any ideas please.
Not for sure if this will help but I had a different set of problems when using 8.1 and Arabesk 2.4. It would load all of my films but would only play back one. I had to update to Arabesk 4 to correct the problem when using 8.1. Other drives that were still using OS 7 worked fine with Arabesk 2.4. Chuck

Thanks Chuck, I am told that no other problems like this have been reported, I would be interested to hear if anyone else has experienced such things when updateing to V8.1
