Sounds like a problem being created with Roxio John as storebought CDs work fine and I burn CD-Rs and CD-RWs regularly with total successful transfers using Ashampoo Burning Studio.

But a Bogart is not a Smart Edit.
The Solitaire uses an OS called VXWorks and the S4P uses a Linux based OS.
Don't be fooled by the GUI of Bogart which was specifically made to "look" like the familiar Smart Edit interface for our comfort and ease of use, they are as different as a PC is to a Mac underneath.
