Arabesk 4 Run Time Inaccurate

Post by CKNewman »

I have a question about Arabesk 4.0d running on my Kron Plus with SE 8.1. The burner is a Pioneer DVR-106D with firmware version 1.08.

I edited a project shot in 16:9 that ended up being 1 hour and 51 minutes in length.  I added it to Arabesk (which I use rather infrequently) and hit cancel when it asked if I wanted to change the film (and use the assistant?).  I chose normal video and compressed audio.  The film added and rendered and I burned a DVD on a Taiyo Yuden disc with no issues except that I chose no box around the arrow button but it drew one anyway.

When I put the DVD into a player – stand alone or my computer – the total time shows something like 2 hours and 10 minutes, but it actually runs for the correct time (1:51) and then stops.  Is this normal or is there something that I set improperly?  Should I (or can I) uninstall and re-install Arabesk?
