Imported a 16:9 file did some edits and arabesked it out to dvd. Picture plays 4:3 on my wide screen tv. ?

Remember you have to specifically set the menus to 16:9, but I doubt if that is your issue.
It is likely a setting on your DVD player that needs to be changed.
I am not totally clear on this, but I believe Hollywood DVDs have a software flag that DVD players detect to switch between 4:3 and 16:9 and I believe Arabesk does not set such a flag so you need to switch this setting manually in your DVD player menu settings.
