How do you send video over the internet?

Post by charlestucker »

I am working on an project that I would like to share with some future clients over the internet. The real problem is I never done it before but would like to learn.

Questions I have so far:
Which site to use that I can share video with over the internet?
How to share video over the internet using the Solitaire?

I edit with an Solitaire system and my computer system is Vista.

Thanks

The short answer depends on how long your video is, does it have copyright elements in it (music, etc), and to whom is the online video going to be geared towards. The short answer is you can use a camcorder to export from your Solitaire to your Windows PC and use Windows Movie Maker to process and prepare the upload.

I covered this specific topic in my October 10, 2009 Public Webinar. In fact I spent more than 1 hour sharing my thoughts and observations about four of the 'main' host sites. Then in a separate streaming video, I share the process for exporting and uploading your content to the internet host site. I also provide a PDF document (13 pages) with the notes and procedures presented in this webinar session

This follow-up information is currently in the public archives here: http://www.casablancaexpert.com/articles/20091009

After November 10th I will turn this information back into a Members Only article, accessible in the Premium Area of the website (along with more than 280 other articles) as I am presenting these Public Webinars without sponsorship at this time.

I am happy to continue to share my expert instruction and training with all members of the Casablanca community, and plan to continue to offer Public Webinars once a month. But the follow-up resources will revert to Premium Content after 1 month. These public sessions are offered in hopes folks who are not yet members will see the value in what I offer and would strongly consider membership in the website and its many Casablanca resources.
