"HDV rendered but storyboard has changed"
I receive this message on occassion. When presented with this message, I am still able to burn a DVD or I can re-render via the finish window. My question is do I have to re-render? If I don't, is it not HD quality? It's not really clear to me, mainly because when I get the "HDV is rendered but storyboard has changed" message in the Finish window, it also claims effects/music are not rendered. But if they REALLY weren't rendered, I would not be able to export to DVD, no?

Hello Rt80west,
You can edit a project in the edit window and render all the titles, and transistions and the project can be encoded in Arabesk and a SD DVD can be burned from that information. However if you want a true HD project it needs to be rendered into HD. You can do this in the finish window or in Bogart you can also do it in the clipboard which will complete the render and send to what ever place you have selected.
So you were correct in your assumptions about the extra rendering. On another note, if you have completed rendering for the edit window and then rendered again to HD, if you make any changes at all after that, it will need to be rendered again because of the change.
So never do the final render until you are really satisfied with your work and it's the way you want it. Don't change anything after that.

Re: "HDV rendered but storyboard has changed"
When making a HD ARABESK, no need to RENDER TWICE. I simply ADD FILM to a HD ARABESK project and ARABESK HD will then RENDER the SB. However, Jim gives great advice: Any changes will involve a re-render, so it is imperative to make sure all is well on the SB.
