When trying to transfer SD footage via the clipboard into an HD project, I have encountered countless problems. The problems are bizarre and unpredictable. Specifically, many of the scene clips in the bin and/or the storyboard get contaminated (for lack of a better description) and will either a) fail to play altogether or b) contain video info from other clips that is completely different from what was uploaded. Really odd.
A fix I (finally) discovered that seems to work is when trying to blend SD w/ HD, instead downconvert and send HD clips into an SD project (via the clipboard), do all editing there and once complete, send the now SD project footage (which consist of original SD footage and HD footage that was downconverted into the SD project), back up to an HD project. This seems to work ok with no contaminated scenes.
Anyone else experience anything like this?
By the way, I also wiped out the entire hard drive and relaoded the OS to no avail.
