STILLS FROM VIDEO

Post by erictom »

Is it possible to import stills from the Scene Bin to the Media Manager and export/burn to CD/USB?

Never tried that as it is far easier to just export stills to a flash drive directly using Photo Transfer.
My mom always told me that happiness was the key to life.
At school they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up.
I said “happy" and they told me I didn’t understand the question.
I told them they didn’t understand life.

As Tim pointed out the recommended path would be to use Photo Transfer to export stills into JPEGs. There is no direct photo/JPEG export into the Media Manager from the video editing 'side' in the Bogart series editors. As you may know there are 3 different 'sections' in the Archives Menu that allows transfer between Media Manager and the editing projects - the Video/Film Archives is the only one that works both ways. Music/audio and Photos are import only (from Media Manager to Editing). That said - you _could_ export a still scene over to Film Archives, then export that onto USB/CD and then pull that up in your computer, use software to extract a JPEG photo (like Topaz Moment) but as you can see that is a long work-around to using Photo Transfer.
