HD? or DV?
A few ways. One is directly to the SAVE function in BOGART to a FLASH using the HDV setting which is MPEG-2 and upload friendly........ then upload to YOU TUBE. YOU TUBE? Only a 15 min. limit
Second way: Due to the length of you project, you will have to use Media Manager. However, in order to NOT lose AUDIO, make sure you check off MPEG-2 before using the ARCHIVE function-not to be confused with the SAVE function. Then, EXPORT as "YOU TUBE HD" to your flash drive and upload to your PC or direct from the flash to YOU TUBE.
If you are saving the project for a WEB application, GOOGLE the following in order to convert the file(s) on flash for web use:
MPEG StreamClip Overall conversion. Q-time etc.
Handbrake MP4 Good for a MAC
ANY VIDEO CONVERTER My favorite.
The converted files can be sent to a MAC or PC.
NOW, you may have a problem with a long project and you will see TWO files on your flash-this is normal due to the amount of information capable of being contained in a single file.
SO, you will have to stitch the files together using a 3rd pary editing software on your PC. You can use i-Movie(MAC) or Windows Movie Maker-PC. The new Windows Movie Maker live allows the use of AVCHD files. However, I have had no luck in exporting at this time. Could be my PC.
