audio rendering

Post by dixons »

Am currently working on a short project viz; scenes inserted to the music background (each selected beat with its own black square with pink musical note) which was loaded on to the storyboard initially (hope that makes sense!).

All has gone well until, by using the letterbox, I've endeavoured to adjust/fade the music on the third last image from the end of the storyboard. When I try to create this adjustment the screen goes black and a caption appears telling me that 'this programme hasn't been quit properly'

This message also appears when I try to create storyboard by clicking logo just above the insert button.

In the box under the scene the letters fx appear and, as this is the only one in the entire project like that, I feel that this, for whatever reason, might be causing the problem. How can I get rid of the fx?

When attempting to back up this project to Seagate External Drive, 'Rendering Audio' appears for an instant and then the screen goes black.

Would be grateful for advice on this.

regards,
