YES, but depends on the file format and as stated above, a Blu-ray DVD player/recorder installed. I do it all the time with .MXF files, .MTS, .M2t files. Simply place the disc on the BOGART side. Assign a HD project. Click on the RECORD USB ICON and then check off the files needed. In Bogart 4, we will even have a directory!!!!!! You can even use Media Manager, but I prefer ther Bogart side. I am using Bogart 3. series.

No Blu-ray player. No problem. Take those files (on your PC) that you will transfer to a Blu-ray disc and instead, export same to a USB Flash Drive.

Plug the USB into the S4000 and export to your HD project. All Blu-ray is doing from your PC is capturing your files. The USB drive will do the same.

ALSO: If you are limited to less than 27 minutes, you can send the files to a standard DVD-R. Correct, standard DVD-R. You then will NOT need a Blu-ray DVD player drive using this method.

NOTA BENE: Now, be careful: If this is a Hollywood produced Movie....No, you will not be able to import these specific files.
